PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Public Distribution System (PDS) has been a core part of India's food security net for nearly 65 years, handling roughly 15% of the country's total rice and wheat availability.
To improve targeting and reduce leakage, Central and State Governments introduced biometric verification of beneficiaries.
Callippus built a turnkey solution combining Retail POS billing with biometric verification, integrated with a server-side platform for reporting and MIS.
